Boston & District

Groups

In order to enrol in any group / course you MUST be a member of Boston & District u3a. This is for insurance purposes and to ensure there is capacity in the group for new members. The idea of groups is that you make new friends, have fun and learn new things from each other. You may be out walking, having lunch, creating some craft or perhaps revisiting a language learnt at school. Groups are run by members for members in an informal setting. Many of the groups are free, however those which meet in a public hall may have a cost to cover the room hire charge.

If you have any ideas for starting up a new group this would be most welcome - just contact the Group Co-ordinator Group Co-ordinator

or any member of the Committee when help and advice can be provided on how best to progress things in accordance with the general u3a philosophy and within stipulated guidelines.

Please be advised that if you attend any group as a guest, you are NOT covered under the u3a liability insurance policy provided by the Third Age Trust and do so entirely at your own risk. Personal accident insurance cover is NOT provided by The Third Age Trust.
