This Group meets on the last Wednesday of each month at 10.30am. The walks led by the Group Leader/s go through areas of countryside that they know very well thus giving you, the member, an interesting variety of routes. Full details of each walk is published in the monthly edition of Newsline magazine. Quite often the group meets up in the Wolds with a more strenuous 5 mile walk, finishing for a 1pm lunch. These walks are often off road with climbs, mud etc. Proper walking gear, good footwear, suitable clothing, waterproofs etc are an essential requirement as well as being reasonably fit.
